Image Compressor & Converter

This tool compresses, resizes, and converts images directly in your browser. That means your files never leave your device, giving you fast results and full privacy. Use it to reduce image size, change file format, or prepare images for web, email, and social sharing.

What you can do

  • Compress: Reduce file size while maintaining acceptable quality.
  • Resize: Set custom width and height for faster uploads.
  • Convert: Switch between JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF formats.

How compression and quality work

The quality slider controls how much data is kept in the output image. Lower values create smaller files but may reduce sharpness. For most photos, a quality of 0.7–0.85 balances size and clarity.

Tip: WebP usually provides the best compression with minimal quality loss.

Fit options

“Fit” controls how the image is resized. Inside and Contain keep the entire image visible within the target size. Cover may crop edges to fill the target area. Fill stretches to match the exact dimensions. Outside expands the image beyond the target so it can be cropped if needed.

Privacy & security

Your image is processed locally with browser Canvas and is not uploaded to any server. This makes the tool ideal for sensitive photos and documents.
